We're Here to Help

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, WE CAN HELP.

Charitable gift planning affords you opportunities to have an outsized impact on the causes that matter most to you with the possibility of reducing or eliminating current and future tax liabilities, creating income for you or your loved ones, and preserving wealth for future generations of your family.

Recent and pending changes to the tax code (Tax Cut and Jobs Act, CARES Act, CAA, and BBB) contain provisions incentivizing you to plan how, what, and when you give to charity. If you have recently experienced or are anticipating changes in your personal life or business, we encourage you to partner with us to ensure you're taking full advantage of these incentives.

Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation's Department of Leadership Gifts is a ready resource for you and your advisors. We welcome you to have a confidential, no-obligation conversation to align your personal financial situation with your philanthropic goals.

What's your personal legacy?

The Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation has for over 30 years fostered a connection between the performing arts, our community, the bay and the spirit of human creativity. We provide community outreach and art education initiatives that bring the arts alive for students, families and teachers.

The Future of the Arts Begins Now

The vision for our future is the Sarasota Performing Arts Center, a world-class performing arts center on the bayfront - a civic gem and community asset for Sarasota and the Gulf Coast.

Many types of planned gifts support this vision, ensuring Sarasota's legacy and yours. Your gift can endow a variety of programs:

  • Arts Education
  • Lifelong Learning
  • Performing Arts

With your gift, you become a part of the Bravo Legacy Circle, a growing group of friends and supporters who are making impactful gifts for the future of the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation.

When you make a gift, you become a part of the Bravo Legacy Circle and an important part of the future of the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation.

Gifts That Pay You
Charitable Gift Annuity

When you donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares instead of cash, you'll receive charitable deductions at full, fair market value while eliminating capital gains impact. How you make the gift depends on your asset structure.

If you're 70 ½ or older, you must take a Required Minimum Distribution from your IRA. You can make a gift of up to $100K directly from your IRA to the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation. While there is no current charitable deduction for a rollover gift, you do avoid the income tax on the donated portion of this distribution.

Gifts of Property
Real Estate and Other Valuables
